Michael T. Nations has for many years provided extensive pro bono legal services to Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, which operates a K-8 school on two in-town Atlanta campuses, one in the Grant Park neighborhood and the other in adjacent Ormewood Park. Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School is racially and economically diverse. It has been consistently recognized for the high quality of education provided to its students.
The firm is also a longtime supporter of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc. Mr. Nations serves on the Society’s Board of Directors and its Executive Committee, and was President of the Society in 2007. Mr. Nations has been a volunteer instructor in Emory Law School’s Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques. He is a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, and currently serves as a Trustee of the Georgia Bar Foundation.
